Privacy Policy

ShipBasis processes only the information needed to install, operate, bill, and support the app. The app does not sell personal information or use merchant data for advertising.

Information we process

• Shop identity and app installation details supplied by Shopify.
• Delivery customization settings and shipping rules created by the merchant.
• Billing status supplied through Shopify's Billing API.
• Technical logs needed to diagnose errors and maintain service reliability.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate the merchant, save and execute shipping rules, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain the app. ShipBasis does not require protected customer data such as customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or order histories.

Data retention and deletion

App data is retained only while needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. Shopify compliance webhooks are used to process required data deletion requests. Merchants may also contact support to request deletion of app data.

Service providers

ShipBasis uses Shopify to provide app installation, authentication, billing, and checkout functionality, and Cloudflare to host the app. These providers process information under their own privacy and security commitments.
